Welcome to Barren Island Books, the author interview series that’s in no way related to a popular music-based radio programme. You know the rules by now: my guests are exiled to a remote island with only five books for company, selected from the categories I give them. It’s up to them to make sure they choose wisely, because they’re going to be stuck with those books for a long, long time …
My interviewee this week is Tim Lees, author of The God Hunter (Harper Voyager) and Frankenstein’s Prescription (Tartarus Press). When he’s not being banished to a desert island, Tim can be found at timlees.wordpress.com.

This week I have not one but two interviewees to exile. They are John Peck and Harry Heckel, who between them make up fantasy author Jack Heckel. Jack’s first book, Once Upon a Rhyme (Volume I of the Charming Tales), will be released in two days’ time. You can find out more about him at jackheckel.com or on Facebook. In the meantime, he’s sent John and Harry along to be banished to a desert island on his behalf. I hope you've discovered some exciting new books and authors over the past twelve weeks. The giveaway will close at the end of the month, so there's still time to enter if you haven't already; in the meantime, here's tour host Lisa with a few final words.
