Darkhaven blog tour: and so it ends

That's it! My blog tour finished yesterday! It's been a wonderful experience, with lots of awesome reviews for Darkhaven and so many kind, helpful and all-round lovely bloggers willing to let me appear on their sites.

Of course, it's also been completely exhausting. After my release party on 2 and 3 July, I got really behind and so this last week has been a constant scramble to keep up. But we made it! The tour is done! And now I plan to sleep for a little while :-)

Below is a roundup from the third week of the tour, and after that I'll announce the giveaway winner in case you missed it on any of the other sites.

Reviews

The excellent reviews have kept on coming, for which I am so grateful (and also a little bit proud).

"I loved every single minute of this compulsively readable book." What Danielle Did Next

"By far my favorite aspect about this book is the full contingent of rich characters. This book shines with all of the best facets of a great ensemble cast." Fangirls Read It First

"Smith perfectly merges all these elements together into a fantastic read, one that will definitely be on my top picks of 2015. If you’re looking for something magical, exciting and full of action, Darkhaven should definitely be your next read." The Bibliophile Chronicles

So that's wonderful and amazing. There may be a few more reviews to come from late ARC reviewers, but after that, it's over to the book-buying population. Let's hope they like Darkhaven as much as the book bloggers did :-)

Interviews

I had some great interviews at Wag the Fox and Books, Bones & Buffy, plus one at Authonomy - which is, of course, the author community site where I first started to share my writing. So that was particularly nice.

Articles

This week I wrote guest posts about how good it is to be a reader today, why I like darkness in fantasy and my writing life, plus an article for Voyager themselves.

I also made lots of book recommendations! So you can discover my Top Five fantasy novels that ...
  • feature people who become animals
  • have the word dark in the title
  • are set in quirky cities
  • combine fantasy and murder.

Giveaway

And finally, we come to the giveaway. Here's the Rafflecopter again, with its winner randomly selected :-)
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Congratulations, Betty, and I hope you enjoy your prize!

And for those of you who didn't win, remember you can get hold of the book for only £1.99/$3.99 ...

Right, then. Back to everyday life!
